Pinpoint Barrier

Pinpoint Barrier is a rune effect in [Energy Armor]], a Utility Wizard skill.

  • This is an Armor spell. Only one Armor spell can be active at a time.

This rune effect grants a 5% bonus to critical hit chance while Energy Armor is active. Note that various rune effects, skill bonuses, and some item bonuses only trigger on critical hits, so this effect should be paired with those. Using it with equipment that increases critical hit damage is also a good idea.

1 Cost: 25 Arcane Power

Focus your energies, increasing your Armor by 35% but decreasing your maximum Arcane Power by 20. Lasts 10 minutes.

Only one Armor may be active at a time.

MedRuneE Pinpoint Barrier
1 Energy Armor also increases your Critical Hit Chance by 5%.

Prior to the skill revision in February 2012, this rune effect was enabled by the Alabaster Rune, granting the following effect with a level 7 runestone:
