Shadow Blades[edit source]

Pretty much like the Energy Blades from the Holy Power skill tree, but they shine in purple. The mage activates two blades of magical purple energy - one for each hand. Actually a small energy lightning comes out of each finger and they all are chained together with a curved lightning edge. Press the skill button to activate the blades and press it again to deactivate them. Deactivation doesn't cost Energy. If you are wearing a shield, the blade is only on the right hand. These blades are used for melee combat - the mage slices enemies.

When striking enemies the blades deal some magical damage but they also steal some life and Energy - more Energy than life. The attack speed is very fast. The enemies pointed with the mouse will be affected directly ant the blades will steal life and Energy. The foes that are in the same direction and close to the main target will also be damaged, but the blades will not steal life and Energy from them. Costs Energy for activating.

In addition to the blades effect, there is a chance to emit a lightning of purple energy that can strike the nearby enemies when you attack your target. When this happens the enemies struck will squiggle as if they were hit by the blade, but the damage they receive will be the half of it. The life and Energy stolen will also be the half of usual. The maximum count of enemies struck except the target is two.

Be careful when using this ability since these blades significantly decrease your resistances.

Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage and the percent of life and Energy stolen per hit. The chance to emit additional lightning to affect the foes nearby will also get better. The more advanced this skill is, the less resistance drawbacks for you and allies. The Energy cost increases.

Dark Scepter[edit source]

The mage summons a big scepter of purple energy in her hands. Actually she raises her hand above her head and thin rays of light start shining around it, then they gather together (they move from the outwards to inward) and form the scepter. It looks pretty much like a big morning star mace, but made of purple light. Press the skill button to activate the scepter and press it again to deactivate it. Deactivation doesn't cost Energy. The scepter is one handed and you can wear a shield or a magical item in the other hand. The attack speed is fast. The damage is magical and physical. The scepter also steals life and Energy per hit - more than Shadow Blades. There is a chance to blind enemies. Costs Energy to actvate.

In addition to that there is a chance for the scepter to emit a lightning of purple energy when you hit the target and it will affect maximum four of the nearby foes. The damage of the lightning is twice lower than the scepter damage. The life and Energy stolen by the lightning will be lower.

You can also benefit your allies using this skill. Point them with the mouse and press the skill button to put a Mark them. Up to three of your friends can have this Mark. Once they have it, your allies will receive some percent of life and Energy stolen by your Dark Scepter – it is divided equally between you and your friends.

Be careful when using this ability since this scepter presence significantly decreases your resistances as well the resistances of all your Marked allies.

Adding points to the skill will increase the magical and physical damage, the life and Energy stolen per hit and the chance to blind enemies. The chance to emit a lightning to nearby foes will also get better. The Energy cost for activation will increase.

Stun Blast[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and on the cursor position a white sphere appears and grows in less than half a second to up to 3 meters diameter. Its center is like a white star. The sphere affects nearby enemies in its range by scattering them, knocking them down and stunning them for a while. Enemies that are higher level will not be affected, so add points to the skill. After the sphere has grown its center starts to shine and there are white rays that move from its edges to center. Then the sphere with the rays shrinks to center and disappears. A similar spell was shown in one episode of The Legend Of The Seeker serial - the one with the magical maps. If you accuse me for plagiarism I will accept your critique, but I did everything possible to make the spell look different.

The spell costs Energy.

Adding points to the skill will increase the stun duration, the chance to affect higher level enemies and the diameter of the sphere will also increase /up to 3,5 meters/. The Energy cost will increase.

Shadow Nova[edit source]

This Nova looks pretty much like the classical nova shown in various games, but it comes from the waist of the mage and its color is violet. The Shadow Nova affects the enemies by dealing some magical damage, but its main thing is that it steals Energy. The more enemies in the range, the more Energy stolen. Casting costs Energy.

Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage and the Energy stolen per enemy. Its range also increases. The Energy cost for casting will increase.

Doom Hammer[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and a purple star shines high above her head. The star falls in a parabola to the selected enemy and strikes. When the star strikes the enemy it emits a purple Nova that hurts the enemies nearby. The damage is magical and physical.

Adding points to the skill will increase the star and the Nova's damage. The Energy cost will increase.

Ruby Rays[edit source]

The mage raises her hand or weapon above her head and a ruby red light shines on top of it. Then the light emits ruby red rays that strike the nearby enemies. The more enemies, the more rays. Each ray shines for a second and disappears. Then if the enemy is still alive, another ray appears. The rays appear in a fast sequence, not simultaneously. The more you hold the button, the longer the ray attack. The damage is magical. The range of the spell is limited. Costs Energy per second.

Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage of the rays and will decrease the Energy cost per second. The range of the spell also increases.

Twilight Mastery[edit source]

A passive skill that increases the damage of all Shadow Spells, but decreases the damage of the Holy Power spells. That's the price for being a shadow Aurian Mage - your Holy Power fades.

Leech Mastery[edit source]

A passive skill that increases the percents of Life ands Energy stolen for all Life and Energy stealing spells.

Magic Fog[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and a thick blue fog appears around her body, grows quickly and covers almost the whole area on the screen. When the mage moves, the fog follows her slowly. Enemies in the fog have difficulties to see the mage and their resistances are slightly lowered. For the mage enemies in the fog can be easily seen, because there is a white glow around them. Enemies that are higher level will be able to see the mage, so add points to the skill. The fog exists for one minute and then it fades away. After the fog has disappeared there is 5 minutes casting delay. Casting costs lot of Energy.

This spell is meant to hide the mage only but advancing in the higher levels of it may also affect allies and partially hide them as well.

Adding points to the skill will increase the chance for not being seen from higher level enemies and the percent of lowered resistances will also increase. The Energy cost will increase.

Magic Wall[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and draws a thin transparent magic wall that shines in cyan blue. Actually the wall is presented by a bright cyan blue line on the ground and there are rays of cyan blue light coming from it, which form the wall. Hold the skill button and draw the wall with the mouse. The longer the wall, the more Energy cost.

You can draw a circle around a group of enemies or trap them in a corner by drawing a diagonal wall. Enemies cannot pass the wall and their missiles cannot pass it too, but your spells can pass the wall and hurt the trapped enemies.

Enemies that are higher level will be able to destroy the wall, so add points to the skill. Bosses will destroy the wall with two blows.

The wall exists for up to 20 seconds and then it fades away. There is a casting delay of 20 seconds.

Adding points to the skill will make the wall tougher so higher level enemies don't destroy it. The Energy cost will decrease so you can draw longer walls.

Drain[edit source]

The mage raises her hand above her head, a bright purple light shines on top of it and it emits purple lightnings that strike the nearby enemies and drains and steals their life. There can be up to 5 lightnings at a time, affecting 5 enemies. The more you hold the button, the longer the lightning attack and the more life stolen per second. Costs Energy per second.

Adding points to the skill will increase the life stolen per second and the range of the purple lightnings. The Energy cost will increase.

Shadow Prison[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and wings a bubble that is three times bigger than her head. There are purple lightnings dancing on the bubble's surface. When the bubble reaches the enemy it grows around him and traps him inside. It can also trap the enemies nearby. The foes trapped cannot get out. The bubble steals their life and Energy and gives it to the mage. The mage can drain life and Energy even above the limits of the Life and Energy orbs. This is how you can grow stronger until your Life and Energy restore to their previous quantity.

The bubble drains life and Energy until the enemies die. Higher level enemies and bosses will be able to get out, so add points to the skill. To drain Life and Energy your character must be close to the bubble. If you are away and enemies stay too long in the bubble they will also be able to get out. The bubble can trap up to 3 enemies. Costs lots of Energy.

You can also attach this prison to allies allowing them to heal and become stronger too. When you have trapped enemies with the spell, simply aim a friend's character and press the skill button again. This will make the Life and Energy flow into your friend’s body, making him much stronger.

Adding points to the skill will increase the life and Energy drain speed and will make the bubble more difficult to break from higher level enemies. The Energy cost will increase.

Thorn Armor[edit source]

The mage can cast this spell to her and to allies. The spell enchants your armor and it returns melee damage to enemies. While enchanted the armor glows in dark bloody red color, emitting short thin rays of red light that dance around. The damage returned starts from 60% and increases with 10% per skill level. The Thorn Armor exists for two minutes and then it fades away. There is no casting delay. Cannot be cast to allies. Casting costs Energy.

This skill cannot be combined with Shield Of Light and Dark Shield /see below/. One cancels the other.

Adding points to the skill will increase the percent of damage returned. The Energy cost will increase.

Dark Shield[edit source]

The mage activates a big purple shield /sphere with purple edges/ that has 3,5 meters diameter. The shield doesn't let the enemies pass it and absorbs missiles. When an enemy touches the shield, he is knocked back and stunned for a while. The shield also deals some magical damage when enemies touch it.

The shield exists for a limited amount of time - 20 seconds and after it fades away there is 2 minutes casting delay. Costs lots of Energy.

Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage and the stun duration. The Energy cost will increase.

Telekinesis[edit source]

The ability to move objects with your mind. The mage can even move her enemies. Using the mouse to mark the target you can drag an object or an enemy (while holding the skill button), accelerate it (him) in the desired direction and throw it (him) away (releasing the button).

Using this skill you can throw different objects to your opponents or you can grab a zombie and throw it towards the rest to knock them down or scatter them. Of course you can scatter them by grabbing and throwing them one by one. This skill shouldn’t work to bosses or maybe you should only move them back. When an enemy hits the rest or the ground he takes damage as well all the enemies struck.

You have another option - just click the skill button on an object or an enemy and it /he/ will be blasted/knocked back taking some damage.

The single click costs Energy and the dragging /holding the button/ costs Energy per second.

Adding points to the skill will increase the damage. The Energy cost for a click will increase. The Energy cost for holding the button for a drag will decrease - only the start Energy cost will increase.

Mind Control[edit source]

The mage raises her hand and draws a mystic rune in the air. The same rune appears on the selected enemy's head. Then the enemy fights on your side. Using the skill on an enemy that is already on your side will cause his immediate death. The enemy fights for you until he gets killed or until you kill him. This is how you can make a small army of Mind Controlled creatures /up to 12/.

If you already have the maximum of Mind Controlled monsters using the skill again will capture the next monster and the weakest monster of yours will die.

Enemies that are higher level will not be affected, so add points to the skill. Bosses will not be affected of course.

The spell costs Energy.

This spell cannot be combined with Call Angels from the Holy Power skill tree. If you have mind controlled creatures, the angels will not appear - they don't endorse the existence of evil creatures on your site. Actually the angels will come, but when they see the mind controlled creatures, they will disappear immediately.

Keeping this spell active for more than one creature is not so easy. The more mind controlled creatures you have, the more Energy Cost for all your Shadow Spells.

Adding points to the skill will increase the chance to control high level enemies. The maximum count of controlled creatures will increase /up to 12/. The Energy cost will increase.

Shadow Wisp[edit source]

Like the Wisp Of Light skill. The ability to call Shadow Wisp - a bright sphere that shines in purple and there are thin rays of purple light coming out of it, making it look like a big purple star. The wisp is twice bigger than the mage's head. The Shadow Wisp flies around the mage and when it sees an enemy, it approaches him and attacks. The Shadow Wisp attack is presented by a purple chain lightning that deals magical damage to enemies and also steals Energy from them. The more enemies the more Energy stolen.

Each Shadow Wisp can emit one lightning and it can affect up to five enemies. The maximum count of Shadow Wisps is two. Each Shadow Wisp has limited life and fades away when killed. Each wisp has a limited range. Costs Energy for summoning each wisp.

The Shadow Wisp cannot be combined with Wisp Of Light. One kind of Wisp cancels the other.

Adding points to the skill will increase the wisp life and magical damage. The percent of Energy stolen will also increase. The maximum count of wisps called will increase up to two. The Energy cost for summoning will increase.

Shadow Form[edit source]

The mage raises her hands and purple flames form a sphere around her body. Then all the Shadow Spells have dramatically increased damage. The percent of Energy and life stolen, when using life and Energy stealing abilities, also increases slightly.

The Shadow Form exists for a limited amount of time - up to 30 seconds and after it fades there is 8 minutes casting delay. You can't use it all the time, so learn to call it only when you need it. Casting costs lots of Energy.

Adding points to the skill will increase the percent of damage added. The life and Energy stolen for the life and Energy stealing abilities will also increase slightly. The duration of the spell will increase up to 30 seconds. The Energy cost will increase.
