Entangling Shot

When Entangling Shot hits an enemy, the Slow effect on all entangled enemies is refreshed.

Bola Shot

Shoot out an explosive bola that wraps itself around the enemy. After 1 second, the bola explodes dealing 160% weapon damage as Fire to the enemy and an additional 110% weapon damage as Fire to all other enemies within 14 yards.

Lay a trap of caltrops on the ground that activates when an enemy approaches. Once sprung, the caltrops Slow the movement of enemies within 12 yards by 60%. This trap lasts 6 seconds.

Smoke Screen

Cooldown: 1.5 seconds

Vanish behind a wall of smoke, becoming momentarily invisible for 1 seconds.

This ability does not start its cooldown until after its effects expire.

Shadow Power

Draw in the power of the shadows, gaining 26821 Life per Hit for 5 seconds.

Life per Hit gained is increased by 25% of your Life per Kill.

Fan of Knives

Throw knives out in a spiral around you, dealing 620% weapon damage to all enemies within 20 yards. Your knives will also Slow the movement of enemies by 60% for 1 seconds.

Spike Trap

Lay a trap that arms after 1.5 seconds and triggers when an enemy approaches. The trap has a 0.5 second re-arming time and can explode up to 3 times, each time dealing 340% weapon damage as Fire to all enemies within 8 yards.

You can have a maximum of 3 Spike Traps active at one time.

Sentry

Summon a turret that fires at nearby enemies for 280% weapon damage. Lasts 30 seconds.

You may have 2 turrets active at a time.

You gain a charge every 8 seconds and can have up to 2 charges stored at a time.

Fire a massive volley of arrows at a large area. Arrows fall from the sky dealing 1500% weapon damage over 5 seconds to all enemies in the area.


Passive Skills[edit]

Passive skills replaced Traits during late game development in 2011. Many Traits were simply changed to passive skills, but some are all new. See the Demon Hunter traits page for a full list of those passives.

Vengeance: Gain 100% increased damage.

Steady Aim

Cull the Weak

Numbing Traps

Perfectionist

1 Reduce the Discipline cost of all skills by 10%. Increase your Armor and resistance to all damage types by 10%.


Discipline is used to fuel many of your tactical and defensive skills.

Custom Engineering

1 Increase the duration of your Caltrops, Marked for Death, Spike Trap, and Sentry by 100%.


Increase the maximum number and charges of Sentries to 1 and number of Spike Traps to 3.

This skill is affected by your characters:

Grenadier

Passive
1 Increase the damage of grenades by 10%.

Increase the explosion size of grenades by 20%.

Upon death, you drop a giant grenade that explodes for 1000% weapon damage as Fire.

Sharpshooter

1 Gain 4% Critical Hit Chance every second. This bonus is reset 1 seconds after you successfully critically hit.


This skill is affected by your characters:

1 Increase damage of rockets by 100%.


In addition, you have a 20% chance to fire a homing rocket for 150% weapon damage when you attack.
