Breath of Heaven is a Defensive Monk skill unlocked at Level 8. The Monk expends spirit to heal himself and his party.

A blast of divine energy heals you and all allies within 12 yards for 69734.73 - 91192 Life.

Heal amount is increased by 30% of your Health Globe Healing Bonus.

Circle of Scorn
14 Breath of Heaven also sears enemies for 505% weapon damage as Holy.
Circle of Life
21 Increase the healing power of Breath of Heaven to 139469.46 - 182383 Life.

Heal amount is increased by 30% of your Health Globe Healing Bonus.

Blazing Wrath
32 Breath of Heaven increases the damage of your attacks by 10% for 9 seconds.
Infused with Light
44 Gain 14 additional Spirit from Spirit generating attacks for 5 seconds after using Breath of Heaven.
59 Allies healed by Breath of Heaven have their movement speed increased by 30% for 3 seconds.

Skill Design[edit]

This skill first appeared at BlizzCon 2010. There are currently no visuals available for the skill, and no reports on it from demo players. It was revealed in the skill tree.

This spell is likely to be a popular one in PvP.


The following Monk passives provide a benefit to Breath of Heaven:

Guiding Light

40 Your heals and shields grant increased damage equal to the percentage of Life missing, up to a maximum of 30%, for 10 seconds.


Breath of Heaven was first revealed at BlizzCon 2010, but there are no gameplay reports describing the skill from that event.


Skill tiers were removed shortly before the beta started in September 2011, and Breath of Heaven became a level 2 skill. The skill system was once again overhauled for the Beta Patch 13 in February 2012, and Breath of Heaven was classified as a Defensive skill and moved to level 8. For Beta Patch 14, the amount of healing provided by this spell more than halved.
