Tranquility is a rune effect in Serenity, a Spirit-spending Monk skill.

This rune effect briefly provides allies with an immunity to control-impairing effects.

Name Level Description

1 Cooldown: 16 seconds

You are enveloped in a protective shield that absorbs all incoming damage for 3 seconds and grants immunity to all control impairing effects.

This ability does not start its cooldown until after its effects expire.

MedRuneD Tranquility
1 Protect allies within 45 yards with a shield that removes control impairing effects and redirects up to 120158.304 damage to you for 3 seconds.

Shield amount is increased by 40% of your Health Globe Healing Bonus.

Patch v1.02 on May 29, 2012, nerfed this effect, changing the duration of shared benefit from 2 seconds to 1 second.[1]

Prior to the massive skill and rune system overhaul in February 2012, this effect was enabled by the Golden Rune runestone which granted the following effect:



Extends the protective shield and immunity to control impairing effects to allies within 45 yards for 3 seconds.
