Draining Spirit is a rune effect in Haunt, a a Spirit Realm Witch Doctor skill.

This rune effect adds a mana steal effect, returning 10.2 mana per second to the Witch Doctor. As Haunt costs 98 mana to cast initially, and the spell lasts for 12 seconds (or possibly longer with chaining between targets) this essentially makes Haunt a mana gainer, over the long run.

Name Level Description

Spirit spell
1 Cost: 50 Mana

Haunt an enemy with a spirit, dealing 4000% weapon damage as Cold over 12 seconds. If the enemy dies, the spirit will haunt another nearby enemy.

An enemy can only be affected by one Haunt at a time.

MedRuneD Draining Spirit
1 The spirit returns 13 Mana per second.

Haunt's damage turns into Physical.
