The Witching Hour is a legendary belt that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class.

The Smart Drop system ensures that this belt will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it. Belts can roll with +skill bonuses as well, and these will also usually get Smart Loot'ed to appropriate skills for your class.


The Witching Hour stats[edit | edit source]

The belt is one of the most powerful and rarest items in the game, with bonus to Attack Speed and Critical hit Damage making this one of the most damage boosting belts available. There is no legendary affix but that doesn't slow down player demand for this item.

  • Attack Speed Increased by 5.0–6.0%
  • Critical Hit Damage Increased by 26.0–28.0%
  • One of 27 Magic Properties (varies)
    • Increases Grenade Damage by 10–15% (Demon Hunter Only)
    • Increases Evasive Fire Damage by 10–15% (Demon Hunter Only)
    • Increases Bolas Damage by 10–15% (Demon Hunter Only)
    • Increases Entangling Shot Damage by 10–15% (Demon Hunter Only)
    • Increases Hungering Arrow Damage by 10–15% (Demon Hunter Only)
    • Increases Critical Hit Chance of Revenge by 4% (Barbarian Only)
    • Reduces resource cost of Weapon Throw by 1–4 Fury (Barbarian Only)
    • Increases Frenzy Damage by 5–10% (Barbarian Only)
    • Increases Cleave Damage by 5–10% (Barbarian Only)
    • Increases Bash Damage by 5–10% (Barbarian Only)
    • Reduces resource cost of Rend by 1–4 Fury (Barbarian Only)
    • Increases Electrocute Damage by 10–15% (Wizard Only)
    • Increases Spectral Blade Damage by 10–15% (Wizard Only)
    • Increases Shock Pulse Damage by 10–15% (Wizard Only)
    • Increases Magic Missile Damage by 10–15% (Wizard Only)
    • Increases Firebomb Damage by 10–15% (Witch Doctor Only)
    • Increases Plague of Toads Damage by 10–15% (Witch Doctor Only)
