Naming Policy on Levels

Hi guys! How do you think we should handle levles like Sundered Pass and The Canyon Rim Mines? Should we use "The" in the name or not? The text appearing on the screen uses "The" in it, but it's a bit annoying in a wiki. --Leord 18:04, 9 September 2009 (CEST)

I personally would create both articles, just to be sure (Redirects are available for a reason, no? :p ), and use all words capitalised/used in game (in this case, include The). My reasoning is that a wiki is similar to an encyclopedia; you document 'it' as it is, not as you'd want it to be. A good example is (was; fixed a few months ago) a Boss monster in Guild Wars; it was missing a space in it's name. On the Guild Wars Wiki, the page name also had the typo, because that's the Boss's name in game. When it was fixed, they had to simply press 2 buttons and the page was renamed. But, if general consensus is to not include "The", I'm fine with that, of course :> --Vipermagi 20:24, 9 September 2009 (CEST)
You can leave "The" in or out it wont matter. Redirects if need could work too but not too many. The level sounds fine in both versions to be honest. But this also depends on what level names we see in the future as well.--holyknight3000 01:39, 10 September 2009 (CEST)
True, however, the Stinging Winds is mentioned in the lore while "The Stinging Winds" is the actual level. I was suggesting we treat "The" on level names as just grammar, something you have to add, not part of the title. What do you guys think? I am tempted to just name things with "The" since it says in the game, and do redirects, as you say. Redirects are pain when renaming articles, though...--Leord 17:57, 10 September 2009 (CEST)
After some more thinking, I think we should go with removing the "The" on most articles, keeping it only on articles like the novels. Even there, I think wikis usually do like "Title Title, The", putting the "The" at the end. Well, let's make it (for now) so that any locations or levels are named without the "The", and then the "The"-article redirects to the one without "The". Confusing? --Leord 12:40, 15 September 2009 (CEST)
Cristal clear. The Sundered Pass would redirect to Sundered Pass etc. --Vipermagi 15:50, 15 September 2009 (CEST)
