'''Elixirs''' were announced as a Diablo 3 item in 2008, but they have not been seen since 2009, and may no longer be were not included in the gameDiablo 3.

 [[Strength]] and [[Dexterity]] elixirs were been seen in the 2008 Blizzcon demo. At that time, those elixirs provided a 300 second boost to that one attribute.

A [[Vitality]] and a [[Willpower]] elixir were seen to drop during the 2008 WWI gameplay trailer. It is suspected that these would give a boost very much like the known values of the Strength and Dexterity elixirs.

Elixirs have had ranks, which are were represented by a Roman Numeral notation at the end of the name. It's not known if higher level elixirs increase increased the duration, effect, or both.
