It will return in the full game in the form of [[A Shattered Crown]], and has been highly altered since ''The Crown of Mad Leoric'' was custom-tailored for the short demo in its 2008 appearance.

After killing them, the player can click on and speak with the [[Injured Villager]] lying on him)the ground. With his last breath he tells you the story of King Leoric.

Then you go into the [[Tristram Cathedral]] and slaughter some [[monsterSkeleton]]s start to appear from everywhere, summoned by the pillars, and stuff, then there is a room where there are four huge the player must destroy the pillars that doesn't do anything when you go to approximately the middle stop them from generating countless numbers of the room the [[Skeleton King]]'s ghost pops up and says:skeletons.

When the player gives the crown back on the king, his ghost is summoned to the warmth bones and he is reanimated. Standing up, armed with a huge club, he laughs menacingly and starts to attack, while newly-summoned Skeletons advance from both sides. The player now has to fight Leoric and his minions. The minions are much easier, and can in fact be a useful digression, since polishing off a pack of life into my tomb!!?? The next area you see ==Video==Leoric's reanimation and the subsequent battle can be seen from just after the Crown was used to awaken him , in is where his corpse is. You are supposed to drop his crown there. If you drop the crown his ghost comes flying and goes into his corpse and reincarnates himfollowing YouTube video.
