Players must find the [[Plan: Born's Defiance]] and teach it to the Blacksmith before these items are available to craft. The plan may drop randomly from any targets (monsters, chests, goblins, etc) of around level 21.
Items created with this plan will always be level 21; they do not scale up with level or to the level of the character creating them. They are therefore useful around the minimum level requirement, but will soon go obsolete as gear improves at higher levels.
