Gear
The followers in Diablo III are much more restricted in what they can equip from what we've seen in the mercenaries in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
It is currently unknown what items the The Scoundrel can equip, or what the restrictions are. What is known is that each follower can able to equip two ringbows, an two-handed amuletcrossbows, a main-hand two weaponrings, with a possibility of an off-hand one itemamulet such as and a Scoundrel specific item called shield, varying by follower. Lyndon has only been seen utilizing a two-handed Scoundrel Tokens. Each follower, in addition to the above, also unlocks an item slot at level 25, which will be a unique item gained through completing the follower's storyline. Lyndon's unique item has yet to be revealed21.
Like the other followers, the Scoundrel has three tiers of gear progression, which are based upon level.
The final tier of armor for the Scoundrel bears remarkable similarity to that of the Demon Hunter at later levels, the main difference being the Scoundrel's manly mustache.

As the Enchantress draws many parallels to the Wizard in terms of spells, the same holds true for the Scoundrel, having many similar abilities to the Demon Hunter.
