Paragon Points and Bonuses
Each paragon level on an account will grant each character on the account 1 paragon point to spend on various bonuses. Read that again; if a player has 50 paragon points to distribute and 6 softcore characters, each one of the 6 gets the full 50 points. The points are not shared between characters; each character gets the full amount. The only differentiation is between [[Hardcore]] and Softcore, since Paragon levels and points are not shared between HC and SC.
The points can be spent on various properties in the four different tabs. Not Players initially anticipated the freedom of being able to dump all of their points into whatever bonus they wished, but by mid-September 2013 the properties or plan was to award paragon points that had to be spent in sequence between the size of their bonuses are yet known4 tabs, and rather than all stacked into the system remains under development, but key facts have been revealed. same tab or specific bonus:[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/travis-day-shares-diablo-3s3-paragon-system-2-0-answers-questionsdetails<blue>Paragon level 1 gives you a point to spend in a core stat, Paragon 2 gives you a point in the offensive category, 3 is defensive, and 4 is utility, each level past that follows the same pattern.</blue> Thus a player could still put their first 50 points in the Core tab into the same attribute, maxing that out, but they would be Paragon 197 by the time they had earned 50 points in the Core tab.
