Studies for a Wizard, in how to increase the scope of their mind, taking in more magical energies, such as mana.

Skill Design

Seems like a skill that would be useful early on, but the sort of thing level 80 Wizards would blame on a youthful indiscretion. Of course now that we’ve got respecs in D3, that's not such an issue.

Skill Rank Table

  • Rank 1: +12% mana.
  • Rank 2: +24% mana. (projected)
  • Rank 3: +36% mana. (projected)
  • Rank 4: +48% mana. (projected)
  • Rank 5: +60% mana. (projected)

Synergies

No synergies are specifically known, but more mana means a higher usage of all active skills.

Skill Rune Effects

  • None known.

Development

This skill was first shown at BlizzCon 2008 when the Wizard was unveiled, under the name of Greater Mana, and located in the first tier of skills in the Arcane Skill Tree.

At BlizzCon 2009 it had changed name, and is assumed to still be available in Blizzard's internal game build today.
