Skill Design

Berserker State is passive, it becomes activated from the moment you spend a skill point into it. This skill really gives a sense of being filled with fury and is a good choice for Barbarians who either want to increase their attack speed due to a slow weapon or to become faster than they currently are. Also, the movement speed will help catch fast enemies or give you a better chance to avoid projectiles.

It may be hard to see if Berserker State activated (proced), so a visual indicator may be required.

Development

Berserker State was first seen in the BlizzCon 2008 demo, where it only increased the duration of Frenzy and Onslaught. It was drastically changed for the build at BlizzCon 2009, where it now is a proper "state" the Barbarian enters and is now a prerequisite for Slashing Strike.
