Changes

Amethysts are one of the five types of gems [[gem]]s found in Diablo III. The others are [[Ruby]], [[Emerald]], [[Topaz]], and [[Diamonds]], the last added in [[Patch 2.0.1]] and [[Reaper of Souls]]. Nothing is yet known about their statsAmethysts are the vitality/healing gem, though they will likely be somewhat different adding [[life%]] in helms, [[vitality]] in armor, and [[Life per Hit]] in Weapons. They are much more valued in [[Hardcore]] than {{iw|gems Amethysts stats were in Diablo 2}}normal play mode.
