A Miner's Gold is quest first revealed in the GamesCom 2009 demo.
Background
The quest is given by the Crazed Miner in the Stinging Winds, who asks that you defend him while he raises a chest of gold via a pulley system. If you are successful, you get half the gold.
The defence is easy for characters with AoE spells, since you are being attacked by hordes of Fallen.
