Maybe it's a cumulative increase, rather than additive ala D2: 10 base res would be 12 res using rank 2 DRes (rounding up from .8 seems logical to me). Or a heavy diminishing return (*cough* Natural Resistance *cough*). --Vipermagi 19:21, 6 August 2009 (CEST)

Oh, I am fairly certain the game will look at the Wizard's gear and do +75% of that armor, and same with resistances. Seem very unlikely they will do 60% resist all from just a skill. I think they will be taking some inspiration from WoW on this. Think what you will about WoW, but it handles stats in a very good way! --Leord 14:26, 7 August 2009 (CEST)
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how it works, or if it even stays this way, huh :) Maybe make a note in the article on how Resist will most likely be cumulative, rather than D2-style additive.
Agreed, WoW is quite a fine game. --Vipermagi 14:46, 7 August 2009 (CEST)
