Sergeant Brooks has stood his post, attempting to fend off the demonic attackers well before the hero arrives. The wounded defenders of [[Bastion's Keep]] lay suffering on the frozen ground, while Nurse Melana tends to their wounds.
Speak with Brooks to begin the event, but he has no hope for the hero's success. The event is very straight-forward, with only normal mobs to contend with (no [[elite]]s will spawn to challenge the hero). The first phase of the [[event]] involves battling [[Winged Molok]]s. This can become problematic in higher difficulty levels, due to the fact that the moloks have a tendency to flee, and they have no boundaries as to how far they will flee. The guards around the camp will give chase to them, and the player can note the locations of the moloks on the minimap. They can range very far, fighting the guards who chase them well away from the camp, possibly bringing in outside monsters or elites.

Once the moloks are dead, a small group of heralds will spawn inside of the camp. The player must kill them to finish up.
Speak with Nurse Melana to end the event.
