Reaper's Wraps are crafted [[legendary bracers]] that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This item requires the [[Reaper's Fear]], one of the [[legendary materials]] for each one crafted.

To create these, find the [[Plan: Reaper's Wrap]], which can only drop from Malthael, the end boss of Act Five, and teach the plan to the [[Blacksmith]]. Malthael *should* drop this crafting plan the first time a player kills him on [[Story Mode]], when the quest credit is awarded. If a player doesn't get the plan, such as due to skipping past Malthael right into [[Adventure Mode]], it is necessary to replay the Malthael quest, or possibly even all of Act Five, to trigger the Plan drop when the quest is first completed. (Which will award a guaranteed legendary item drop as well.)

==Reaper's Wraps bracers==

These bracers have a very valuable legendary property that makes them the most coveted bracers in the game for many classes and builds. The ability to refill the main [[Resource]] via health orbs is a game changer for a number of builds, allowing for much higher damage output via heavy resource spending.

These bracers are akin to getting the Demon Hunter's [[Blood Vengeance]] passive from an item, and Demon Hunters with Reaper's Wraps can choose to use a different passive skill, or double up for a nearly complete [[Hatred] refill with every health globe they consume.

==Crafting==

Once a player obtains the Plan and teaches it to the [[Blacksmith]], the bracers can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The [[Smart Loot]] system means that this item will usually roll with a [[mainstat]] and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

==Legendary Material==

The required legendary material, [[Reaper's Fear]] is dropped only by [[Malthael]], the Act Boss of Act Five. As Malthael is also the only source for the plan, some players have gotten lucky and found both the plan and the legendary material in the same drop, their first time killing Malthael in story mode.
