Bookcases are [[clickable]] (but not [[destructible]]) objects found throughout Diablo III. They abound in the Cathedral levels in early Act One, as seen during the [[Diablo III Beta]] test, and usually drop a scroll, a potion, or gold, when clicked.

Early in the beta test, bookshelves were the best place to obtain [[Pages of Training]], when those objects dropped very infrequently from monsters. A later patch changed that ratio, and during the last months of the beta test, bookcases become much less valuable, very seldom dropping anything but [[Scrolls of Companion]] or [[health potion]]s.
