It stands for "'''A''' '''T'''enshi '''M'''uling '''A'''pplication" and is designed to help you organize and categorize your Diablo II characters, mules and items. The idea behind this is to be able to read your character/item files quickly without having to open them up in the game and to be able to transfer items without the problems of previously available editors/muling programs.

The site and program has been active and helping single player characters mule for the better part of a decade.

==Applications==
ATMA is capable of serving as a stash for items from all versions of LoD through 1.12. Also, ATMA can be used to create a new character in any supported patch (which can be useful for bringing a prior patch item to a later patch). Additionally, ATMA includes a drop calculator for all supported versions than can search by item or monster.
