Near Caves and inside them

Includes: Death Claws can be met in rocky mountains, mainly in caves, but they can also be met in jungles and forests near caves again. They set up their camps there and do their hunting.

Death Claws attack with their main weapon - the claws. They can also attack with the horns on their head. They possess some basic telekinesis and that's how they serve themselves (eating and picking things). With their telekinesis they can push their enemies back. They can also leap to their victim and attack with their claws (both). When they don't see a victim they walk slowly. If an enemy appears they run to him and attack. They like to attack in groups. They actually move in groups - four, five or six (up to six). Some of them wear armors and boots taken from their victims, but that's rare thing.

Items Dropped[edit source]

Death Claws drop armors when they wear them. Sometimes boots and potions. They rarely drop gems, jewels or runes. Nothing else.

Experience[edit source]

Death Claws give some good experience when killed at first time, but if you explore the map for a second time they don't give much experience.

Spells and Abilities[edit source]

  • Claw attack

The Death Claw attacks in a sequence or with both claws at a time. He deals a lot of damage with that attack.

  • Head Bash

An attack with horns. The Death Claw attacks with his head when the enemy is close enough.

  • Telekinesis

When the enemy is too close and attacks too often the Death claw uses telekinesis to bush him back.

  • Leap Attack

The Death Claw leaps like the Barbarian and attacks with both claws.

Background[edit source]

The Death Claw's face is ugly. His head is covered with horns - sharp and tough. His body is strong. The main weapon of the Death Claw are the huge deadly claws coming out of his hands. Seems like there's been a mutation here. They walk bended.

The colour of the Death Claw skin is roof-tile like red. His skin from the head to the waist has no hair, but his legs are covered with grey hair (that's a little strange, I know). The colour of his horns is white or grey.

  • Height - up to 2 metres.
  • Length of claws - more than a meter.

Death Claws rarely use armors and they are not so difficult to kill. They bleed when killed and their blood forms a puddle under their body. Their blood is dark violet. They shout when killed.
