Monster Power is a difficulty system no longer operative in Diablo 3. It was removed in early 2014 when Diablo 3 version 2 replaced many legacy features.

When operative, Monster Power allowed settings from MP0 to MP10 which worked much like the current difficulty slider, increasing monster hit points and damage as well as boosting their [Magic Find]], Gold Find, and experience gain. Monster Power also increased the drop chances for the keys and demonic organs required for the Infernal Machine event.
