The
console version of Diablo 3 was released on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on 3 September 2013. In most ways it is the same as the PC version although some alterations were made to gameplay and interface to better take advantage of the controllers. Two fundamental changes are the lack of an
Auction House and the ability to play offline, features many in the PC community would like to see but will not appear. Loot is much better than the PC version, less drops but what does is much better quality and there are even console-only items.
