Skelon's Deceit database.

Skelon's Deceit are crafted legendary pants that can only be created in Reaper of Souls.

To create these, find the Plan: Skelon's Deceit, which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the Blacksmith.

Skelon's Dice properties[edit]

These pants have no inherent stats and no legendary property. The can roll with higher numbers than rare shoulders, but the lack of any special modifiers means that numerous legendary and crafted set pants will offer better bonuses for the end game.

  • All stats listed in the database scale up to the level of the belt when dropped.
  • See the sample screenshots below to see how this belt will roll at level 70.

Skelon's Deceit: Legendary pants

  • Minimum Item Level: 70

Primary Affixes:

  • +4 random primary affixes

Secondary Affixes:

  • +2 random secondary affixes
  • Legendary Affix: None.

These pants are the result of an unfortunate bargain struck
between the demon Skelon and an unwitting human.

Once a player finds the randomly-dropped Plan and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The Smart Loot system means that this item will usually roll with a mainstat and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

Crafting Costs:

Patch 2.0.6 controversially[1] removed Legendary Materials, which changed the crafting costs for every level 70 RoS recipe. Prior to that patch Skelon's Deceit required 1 Skelon's Dice.

Item Examples[edit]

Legendary Material[edit]

Legendary Materials were controversially[2] removed in Patch 2.0.6. The following is archived for posterity.

The required legendary material, Skelon's Deceit is obtained only from Unique (purple) Oppressors and Warscarred Ravagers. They are the huge winged melee fighting demons, seen almost exclusively in Act Five.
