Deadeye.

Deadeye is a crafted legendary hand crossbow that can be created in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls.

This item can be created by any class but only equipped by the Demon Hunter. It has good damage for the level, and with a socket can be a viable Demon Hunter weapon. It is fixed at level 41, no matter what level character creates it though, so can not scale up to remain viable long term.

Deadeye properties[edit | edit source]

This hand crossbow has no legendary affix, but good attack speed and an interesting semi-legendary bonus with added damage against the undead. It's unlikely anyone would bother, but in theory a character really looking to min/max could spend extra time in Cemetery and Crypt levels while using this weapon, to increase their damage and slightly boost their leveling speed.

  • This crafted item can only be made as a level 41 item, and thus will never equal level 70 legendaries in total value.
